Are you a talented and curious student with a background in physics, applied mathematics, quantitative biology, or closely related fields? Then this Master’s Program might be the right step in your career! The application period runs from April 1st to May 31st.

The Master’s Program offered by the Cluster of Excellence Physics of Life (PoL) provides unique training at the crossroads of physics and biology, with a strong focus on research and problem-solving skills. The interdisciplinary program intends to teach fundamentals in biological physics, quantitative biology, and bionanotechnology. Our research is focused on understanding the physics underlying the functioning of biological systems, and covers all scales and topics, from cellular self-organization, intracellular phase separation, and molecular pattern formation, among many others.

The program is jointly offered by the Cluster of Excellence Physics of Life and the Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering (CMCB) at TU Dresden. It has a duration of two years and is exclusively taught in English. The application period for the winter term 2023/2024 is open NOW, from April 1st to May 31st. Students from all over the world are welcome to apply!
