We are delighted to present a new seminar on early career funding for scientists. Rick Glöckner and Christian Lange will present funding opportunities available to researchers - although these fellowships are mostly applicable to postdocs, all interested scientists are welcome and encouraged to attend.

There will be an open Q+A session at the end of the talk for scientists to ask about funding opportunities (and the services TUD can offer to support applications).

Rick Glöckner (European Project Center) will present funding opportunities in Horizon Europe. Special focus will be given to ERC Starting Grants and Marie Skłodowksa Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships that target individual researchers in their early PostDoc career phases. A short glance towards collaborative research opportunities rounds off the presentation.

Christian Lange (Project Scouts) will present funding opportunities from the DFG (German Research Foundation) and international postdoc fellowships for life sciences. Specifically, he will introduce career development fellowships, such as the Walter Benjamin Program of the DFG, as well as EMBO and Humboldt postdoctoral fellowships. Further, he will discuss DFG Individual Research grants and the Emmy Noether Program of the DFG for more advanced postdocs, striving for scientific independence.

Note: This talk will not be streamed via Zoom.
